What are bonus rates?

Bonus rates are a way we reward you for your commitment and dedication to accepting work.
The more bookings you take on (and the more you accept with consistency), the more you earn! 🙌
🌟 How do Bonus Rates work?
If you accept 80% or more of the bookings you’re requested for, you’ll earn a 5% bonus on your hourly rate. It’s that simple!
We assess bonus eligibility monthly, so keep doing what you do best and reap the rewards. Every accepted booking brings you one step closer to earning that extra bonus cash. 🎉
e.g. Your booking responses in February, may unlock the bonus rate for all bookings completed in the month of March.
💡 What does this mean for you?
- The more work you accept, the more you get paid!
- Our bonus rates have allowed interpreters to earn an extra $250+ per fortnight just by saying "yes" to the bookings they were already keen on doing anyway! 🤑
👏 You’re in control
We love rewarding interpreters who show up on the app regularly and take on opportunities with enthusiasm. The bonus rates are a thank-you for your commitment—and it's all about helping customers book interpreters quickly and easily.
🛑 What’s important to remember?
Bonus rates are calculated based on the percentage of work accepted, compared to the amount you decline with the “not available” response.
If you need to decline a booking due to a conflict of interest, the location is too far, or if you’re simply not a good fit for the job, don’t worry—you won’t be penalised.
These are all good, professional reasons to turn down work!
Our hope is that you’ll keep your working hours and availability up-to-date, so customers can book with confidence and secure interpreters quickly. When your availability is current, it means more opportunities and less hassle for everyone!
