How do I set up working hours / availability in the app?

You’re in control of when you’re available to work—and when you’re not.



✨ Why it matters:

Your availability settings are what make you show up as bookable in the app. Set them right, and you'll only be offered bookings that suit your schedule. Easy, flexible, and totally under your control.



📲 What you need to do:

You’ve got two options for managing availability—and both live under Settings > Working Preferences in the app.



Option 1: Set your regular working hours

This is your general availability. You’ll choose:

  • The days you’re available (e.g. Monday–Friday)
  • The times you’re open to receiving bookings
Perfect if you’ve got a consistent schedule. You can update these at any time if things change.



Option 2: Block out time as “unavailable”

  • Going away on holiday?
  • Not taking work over summer?
  • Need a breather for a few days?
No problem. Use the Unavailabilities section in your Working Preferences to block out specific dates or periods when you don’t want to receive booking requests.
You can add, edit, or delete unavailability any time.



⚠️ Note:

Calendar syncing (e.g. with Google Calendar or iCal) isn’t available just yet—but we’re working on it! Keep an eye out for updates soon.
