Just like you love knowing who your interpreter is, interpreters like to know a little about you too! It helps them prepare and do their job well. Especially if you've never met before! 

Your bio = your superpower 💥

Here’s what a great bio can do:

  • Helps interpreters know who you are before your booking (less awkward, more flow) 🧠

  • Builds trust and connection from the start 🤝

  • Makes you feel seen, understood, and respected 💙

  • Saves you time—no need to re-explain your context every single booking ⏱️

What should you include? ✍️

2–3 sentences can do the trick. 🎯

Here are some helpful prompts:

  • What do you do? (Work, study, parenting, community roles?) 💼🎓

  • Where do you usually use an interpreter? (Meetings? Appointments? Events?) 📅

  • Anything you'd like interpreters to know up front? (Communication style?) ✅
