Can Businesses Use the PAH! App to Book Interpreters?

by The PAH! Team on

We often hear from businesses, schools, or service providers looking to book Auslan interpreters through our platform. So we thought we’d clarify who PAH! is for—and help point you in the right direction if we’re not the best fit.

PAH! is designed for Deaf individuals—not businesses.

Our platform was created to give Deaf people more control, choice and confidence when booking their own interpreters using NDIS or EAF funding.

We’re not an agency, and we don’t act like one. That means:

  • We don’t manage bookings on behalf of organisations

  • We don’t coordinate rosters, assign interpreters, or chase confirmations

  • We don’t handle scheduling on someone else’s behalf

Every user on our platform manages their own bookings—just like ordering an Uber or booking a haircut.

If you’re looking to book on behalf of someone else…

No worries—there are some great interpreting agencies who can help with that. You might like to contact:

👉 Deaf Connecthttps://deafconnect.org.au/
👉 Expression Australiahttps://www.expression.com.au/
👉 FAB Interpreting https://www.fabinterpreting.com.au/

They’re better equipped to manage interpreter bookings on behalf of third parties, including organisations and service providers.

Still not sure?

Feel free to reach out if you’re unsure whether PAH! is the right place for you.
We’re always happy to help point you in the right direction.
