Editing or Rebooking Bookings

by The PAH! Team on

Editing a booking depends on timing.

Here's what you can ✅ and can't ❌ change - and when you'll need to create a new booking instead.

Editing or Rebooking Bookings

Can I edit a booking close to the start time?

Less than 24 hours before the booking start:

You can't edit the booking ❌
  • You can't add or remove interpreters.
  • For any changes, you must create a new booking.

More than 24 hours before the booking start:

You can edit the following ✅

  • Time and date
  • Type of booking - Face To Face or VRI
  • Location address
  • VRI platform and details
  • You can add or remove interpreters only if your booking has open slots.

    • Example: if your booking is for 1 interpreter and 1 has already accepted, you can't add more.
    • To book additional interpreters, create a new booking that requires 2 or more interpreters.

Withdrawn interpreters

If an interpreter withdraws:

  • You can add a different interpreter to the booking if it is more than 24 hours before the start time.

  • If the booking is under 24 hours, you can't update it with a different interpreter, you will need to create a new booking.

Interpreter add/remove feature

In a booking, if you remove an interpreter, whether they have accepted, declined, or are still pending, you can't add them back to the same booking.

If you want to add them again, you will need to create a new booking.
